So……I’ve been out of touch for a while.

I’m not going to lie, 2014 was one helluva year (lots of highs, lows, new homes, new jobs, new…..everything) and I’m WAY overdue for an update. I want to allow enough time to focus and write a proper update, so for now, I’m kicking off 2015 with a Photo Challenge post.

This weeks theme is images that convey serenity.

For me, that’s easy – any photo of the ocean pretty much hits the nail on the head, but I particularly like this one……

Taken on the 17 mile drive from Monterey Bay to Carmel during a business trip to California last year – the beach was absolute heaven (on earth).

It would be so easy to lose track of time daydreaming; soaking up the sunshine, scenery and salty breeze.
