The Boys Are Back In Town

Late last year, I had the opportunity to spend a day at the Air Canada Centre working as the on-site photographer for an event hosted by the Toronto Maple Leafs. The event was the suiteowners Fantasy Hockey day where randomly selected suiteowners were treated to a day in the life of a Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Player.

This event definitely highlighted my need for a faster camera, a little more patience (or both) but for the most part I am really happy with the results.

Check them out!

  1. Still though, Emma — with the gear you’ve got, these turned out well 🙂

Did you do any post on the photos? I can definitely see a style difference in how you and I do photos; you go for more of a softer look, which kind of lends itself better to photojournalism. I think I’m in it for as loud, poppy colours as possible.

    I guess I’m a little garish 😉

Here’s to 2014 — hopefully you find yourself in many more amazing opportunities!

    1. Thank you Casey! That’s very kind of you!

To be honest, I was fully intending on doing a “full-blown” post, but other commitments got in the way – which is one of the reasons I’m so late posting this at all. It is definitely one of my goals for this year to focus on documenting more of my experience(s) in Canada – photographically and otherwise 🙂

Thank you for your words of encouragement!
