“You were the last good thing about this part of town”
Summer’s gone, Autumn is officially here; there is a chill in the air and the trees are adorned with glorious shades of red and gold. This year I’ve been quite deliberate about delaying my first “fall-photoshoot” primarily as a significant proportion of the trees where I live are still very, very green (owing to our very late Indian Summer).
Personally I’m not a fan of the Autumnal weather, however from a photographic perspective it is, in my view the best season for capturing vivid colours and if you’re really lucky you can achieve some really great shots.
Today I went for a quick walk to see what I find and I’m pleased with the results.
Here are a few pics that made the final cut.
I’m also hoping to get out to Westonbirt Aboretum over the next couple of weeks to get some pictures of their spectacular Autumn Colours exhibit so keep checking back for new photos.

The tree-lined path is my favorite. I really like the fence shot, too, as I have a fascination with fences. 🙂
Thank you Jacqueline, I really appreciate you taking the time to look at my photos. 🙂
And of course… brilliant title!
